To Restrict a particular apps on your kid's user account please follow the steps
Then Click on the App restrictions option
Right now you can see that i have select vlc media player that's means. The user of this account can only access the vlc media player.
Now These means the user of this account can access all the application except vlc.
If the user want to access a restrict application. then you saw this notification of you windows.
